<p><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>My father is one "cool cat". He is a music historian of the swing and bi band era. Most of my influences were from listening to what he listened to when I was a child. "Benny's Boogie" is written for my dad. It sounds a bit corny, but I don't mind. My dad introduced me to some great music. I am ever so indebted to him.</p>
